  This CD is a recording of the Top 100 Albums show that was featured on the Mia Amigo, New Years Day 1977.

Ed Foster plays the best of the listeners 200 tracks, followed by a selection of the top 100.

James Ross presents his last programmes on Caroline 259, all onboard were looking forward to the change in frequency and increase in power. In addition a fascinating tour and description of the Mia Amigo in true Caroline style which really gives a feel of life on the radio ship Mi Amigo at that time.

 James Ross takes you on a tour of the Mi Amigo before they changed frequency from 259 metres to 319 meters. This Intriguing session contains a description of what was involved in changing frequency also why needed to at the time. The engineer describes the transmitter room the transmitting equipment the aerials, feeders & power output of the station.

James then talks to other staff on board from their cabins including Johnny Jason & Ed Foster also their views on the change of frequency. Then to the generator room & up to the bridge where he tells you more of what happens here also what can be seen. On the foredeck James explains the winch gear, lights, anchor & guidelines. Finally the signing off on 259 metres & saying goodbye until the ships return on 319metres.

Dave Lee Travis the Wierd Beard himself countsdown a section of the top 50 Show on Caroline South to the number one in the chart, he also is keeps a close eye on the wheather in the North Sea at the same time. DLT then hands over to Rosko for his afternoon Show and performs as only he know how!

Radio Caroline the ship with the big big mast sets sail to the Isle of Man. Tom Lodge presents the big line up as Caroline continues its voyage around the south coast of England with links on Carolines position at the time. Included on this item is a great extract from Tony Prince the popular presenter on the North ship as he decides to leave Caroline.
